12th Mega Parent Teacher Meeting in May 2018 held across Sakshi ngo Centres in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon.
We have had major success in the community, this has been the 12th Mega PTM held in SAKSHI Centres across the NCR in the last month – motivating and encouraging parents to participate in their child’s education
120 Parents participated in Mega PTM at SAKSHI’s Jasola Centre.
The objective of Mega PTM was to decrease the drop out rate of children brought into the NFE centres and to retain the children at centre.
All services at The Sakshi NFE Centres are provided free of cost for children, The intent is to make the parents aware of the efforts put in by the institution to raise funds towards providing for their children and also the kind of teaching efforts that the staff have to put in for their children.
Not only in building a bond between teachers and parents, the mega meeting aims to start a positive dialogue and it is hoped that parents will feel proud that they are also part of the several initiatives being taken by SAKSHI ngo on their behalf.
A PTM thus raises the parents interest in a child’s education and we find ourselves working as partners in enabling the child whose future till now had seemed to be that of the thousands who lack the tools which can make them responsible adults and solid members of the community.
This initiative has now become an integral part of the culture of all Sakshi ngo centres,”
